Now With Even More Awesome Hair!
I gave my stylist a general direction and let her run with it, and the results affirm my belief that she is the best stylist to ever lay her hands on a pair of shears.
In bright daylight the color really showed up in pictures.

And in dimmer lighting Colin captured the cut nicely.

My hair has never been this short before (in the back, anyway)! To all you contributors on What Not To Wear who whine and moan about not wanting Nick Arojo to cut your horrible hair off, get. over. it. Putting a little faith in someone who knows what the hell they’re doing up there usually has fantastic results.

Well, I just hit the treadmill for the first time in a year. Last March I was doing awesomely and running 2 miles without needing a breather, but then I met a thing called a 40-hour work week for the first time in my life and it was sayonara exercise routine. Now, faced with the thought of purchasing a whole new wardrobe to fit my rounder frame, I find I suddenly have time to work out again! Funny how that works, isn’t it?
Tonight’s round of Emily vs. Nautilus came out mostly in favor of the treadmill. I was, sadly, only able to run a quarter mile before I had to slow down and catch my breath. Oof. But, always the optimist, I am looking at this as a jumping-off point. I can only get better from here.
Let’s hope I can stay motivated, because this yo-yoing has got to end!
