Summer Lovin’
Wow, how has it been so long already? My brain has no idea what day it is. One minute I’ll think, “Wait, is it Wednesday already?” and two minutes later I’ll think, “Ugh, it’s only Wednesday?”
One week of classes left, then a few finals, then two months of freedom. Well, at least until I get a job. That needs to happen oh…. about three weeks ago. But aside from making money and paying down my credit card balance (I’ve been living credit card free for FOUR weeks now!) what I’m really looking forward to doing with my summer is watching lots of movies, spending oodles of time with Dan, Sunday afternoon trips to the park where we’ll spread out a blanket under a tree and read for hours, and riding our bikes around the neighborhood with Merlin in my basket. If this is going to be my last summer of freedom, I’m going to make it my dream summer, dammit.

My dad is coming over for dinner tomorrow night and Lisa and I are too busy to cook, so he’s bringing takeout. I suggested chinese but Lisa complained that she wanted something healthy. Fair enough.
I found this website called Healthy Dining Finder… perfect! I ran a search for restaurants within 5 miles of my house that offer take-out.
“Your search returned 1 restaurants:
Burger King
5320 Spine Road
Boulder, CO 80301″
Ummmm… yeah.

Well I had the most wonderful time visiting Sam and Ryan for spring break. They have a new doggie that I just fell in love with. Not to mention they are about the most gracious hosts ever! See photos from my trip here: http://colorado.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2141422&l=82db3&id=10203162.
I came back to Boulder with either some really nasty allergies or a respiratory infection from the lovely Ms. Sarah Allen. Either way I’ve been miserable and haven’t been to class since I got back. But today I started feeling better and actually got three uninterrupted, cough-free hours of sleep this morning. So I’m thinking class tomorrow.
Speaking of class, I can’t believe the semester is almost over already. What the hell? Didn’t it just start? I only have one more semester to go. Scary, scary shit. I don’t know if the real world is ready to have Emily on its hands.
