Just one more reason to love Dan:
He bought my mother orchids for her birthday and hasn’t even met her yet. How jealous was I? At least until he surprised me with lilies the next day.
Le sigh, he’s wonderful.

Today was one of those last-thing-I-want-to-do-is-go-to-class, crabby, want-to-eat-an-entire-pizza, unproductive, lay-on-the-couch-for-12-hours kind of days. The only reason I went to class is because I was supposed to give my presentation today but my stupid professor talked for two hours instead of letting the chapter 6 people do their presentation and we never got to chapter 7. UGH, I could have been sleeping!! The first thing I did when I got home (after NOT going to my workout class) was order pizza, followed by the eating of half the pizza, followed by napping/watching tv on the couch for 6 hours. It was glorious.

I finally got pictures of me and my new guy!
Disclaimer: Dan hates the next picture. But I think it’s cute.
Aren’t we an odd couple? Me, the girliest girl who ever girled, with such a badass-looking man. But hey, opposites attract, right?
Things are going swimmingly. I got a beautiful just-because present earlier this week. I think the two of us are going to get along just fine.

I’m sitting here in my Scientific Writing class trying to pay attention to my professor’s diagrams, but it’s phenomenally hard to do that when it’s taking all my willpower to stop myself from gouging my eyes out at the sight of her hot pink socks/hot pink sandals combo. This is strike three. Monday it was a denim ankle-length jumper with a hawaiian shirt underneath, Wednesday it was an oversized t-shirt with leggings. It’s so hard to be a diligent student when I have to focus all my energy on NOT running up to the roof and throwing myself off the top of the belltower. Maybe I should nominate her for “What Not To Wear.”
