Photo Collage

June 30th, 2006

So I finally got around to emptying my camera’s memory card onto my computer, and I thought I’d share a few of my favorite pics with the two people who read this site. Enjoy!

The sunset from my mom’s backyard:

My cat that loves shoes so much she wants to actually be a pair:

Anyone else think I’m qualified to be a foot-porn star? (This one’s for you, Cecil)

Two brand-new baby alpacas at the farm where ours are being boarded… they aren’t our babies, but good lord they’re cute:

So now that everyone is all impressed with my photo-taking skills, I’d like to wish you all a safe and happy holiday weekend!

I’ve Come To Realize

June 29th, 2006

If the past couple of days have taught me anything, it’s that I really, really hate being told I can’t have something. I know I can’t have everything in life, and I’m even willing to deny myself things I want in order to better myself, but when someone else takes the liberty of doing the denial for me it only serves to make me want it more. It’s just so fucking frustrating.

Looking Back

June 20th, 2006

I recently stumbled onto my old Yahoo photo album, and it seems impossible to me that some of these pictures were taken only a few years ago. Baggy cargo pants? Bandanas? Combat boots? Who the hell let me dress like this?

So without further ado, let me introduce some of my not-so-proudest moments.

Exhibit A:
Combat boots and mesh shirt. Yikes. Oh, and that mini skirt was black velvet. Did I think I was hardcore or something?

Exhibit B:
Wife beater, braids, and bandana. Sup, nigga?

Exhibit C:
Ummmmm, grommetted tank top with safety pins. You know, in case I needed to, uh, pin something.

Exhibit D:
Baggy cargo khakis, t-shirt with “tag” writing, backwards baseball cap. Bitch, you don’t even want to mess with me.

PS- How cute is Rob in this picture? Love ya, Rob.

Maybe all this helps explain why I have become the girliest girl that ever girled. I have to make up for the horror somehow.

Dear Mom

June 7th, 2006

Thank you for helping me see that there is life after *insert name of the latest guy who’s broken my heart here*. Without you I would have cried for days on end, but you always seem to have the right bandaid for my various emotional wounds. I love you.

Feeling Snobbish Tonight

June 4th, 2006

My first thought upon logging on to OkCupid and seeing the “recently uploaded photos” section:

“Wow, there are a lot of ugly people on tonight.”

Don’t hate me just because I’m beautiful, hate me because I rub it in.
